“Reflected Hues” is curated by Cloud Gallery, bringing together artists from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Through both two-dimensional and three-dimensional contemporary art practices, the exhibition unfolds as a cross-cultural dialogue. The works reflect the artists’ observations and contemplations on nature, memory, the city, and lived experience, revealing how creators from different cultural backgrounds respond to and interpret contemporary society. Whether through delicate realism or more open-ended formal explorations, each work articulates its own perspective while resonating with others, forming new layers of visual and emotional dialogue.

The exhibition also echoes the theme of Taipei Art Week 2025, “Kaleidoscope,” exploring the artistic possibilities that emerge between difference and shared sensibility. Multiple viewpoints intersect within the exhibition, reflecting Taipei’s vibrant character as a city where diverse cultures converge across Asia.

The title “Reflected Hues” suggests the interplay and fluidity of color and image, like fleeting yet captivating reflections on the surface of water. This imagery not only symbolizes the momentary resonance viewers may experience when encountering the works, but also alludes to the dialogue and correspondence between different cultures, emotions, and perspectives—reminding us that even in a rapidly shifting world, art can become a space for perceiving and understanding one another.
