This exhibition takes inspiration from the poetry of the renowned French poet Charles Baudelaire, who often begins his poems with "Nature" and weaves it throughout his verses. In his work, nature serves as a standard and condition for synesthetic experience, offering an aesthetic validation through poetic language. For Baudelaire, "all things" and "synesthesia" are interconnected—everything is in correspondence.

Just as Baudelaire's poems convey a sensory experience—what can be seen, touched, smelled, or heard—so too can a viewer, upon seeing a painting, almost smell the artist's creative process or perceive the musical notes suggested by brushstrokes and colors.

This exhibition features works by Yi-Chien Wu, Po-Hsun Huang, Hung-Chun Chen, and Huei-Heng Lin, exploring how these artists distill the romanticism found in poetry and language, translating it onto canvas and paper. The resulting artworks invite audiences to engage with the multisensory pleasure of each artist's creative expression.
