For this solo exhibition, Kuei-Hua Lin presents "Virtual From the Window", exploring the interplay of painting, framing, and contemporary subjects. The exhibition features works from two main periods of the artist's practice:

The first group, created before 2017, focuses on plants and flowers, including works such as Kite, Flowing Light, and Departure. Using acrylic paint alongside stencils and syringes, Lin allows pigments to naturally accumulate, overlap, and layer on the canvas, producing richly textured surfaces.

The second group, developed after 2017, reflects the artist's growing interest in human subjects. These works move beyond traditional portraiture, placing figures in specific contexts—particularly people using smartphones or tablets. Lin continues to employ techniques that emphasize layering and texture, maintaining a dialogue with earlier works while addressing contemporary life.
